On February 15th, the U.S. issued sanctions against dozens of Venezuelan officials ranging from PDVSA Chief Manuel Quevedo to Rafael Bastardo who is the head of a National Police Unit and three top intelligence officials. The United States accuses these men and dozens of others of violating human rights, yet in the same press conference in which these sanctions were announced the U.S. Treasury Department stated that these sanctions could be lifted for “persons who take concrete and meaningful actions to restore democratic order.”

The United States is making its motives in Venezuela very clear and using the “restore democratic order” line as a sham to overthrow a democratically elected president. If Rafael Bastardo has violated human rights and deserves the sanctions imposed on him then why did the U.S. state that the sanctions would be lifted if he went along with the coup? This statement proves that the United States is sanctioning government officials in Venezuela for political reasons in order to build opposition to Maduro and not to “restore democratic order” to Venezuela.

Sanctions kill innocent people, and they are an act of war. This has been proven over and over again from Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan to Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Venezuela where ever the U.S. issues sanctions innocent people die whether it be from malnutrition or sanction-induced violence. Economic warfare is catastrophically downplayed as a more humane option then bullets and tanks, but sanctions aren’t any less devastating than an invasion.

PDVSA Chief Manuel Quevedo tweeted out a statement in Spanish in which he clearly states what anti-establishment independent media voices have been screaming about for weeks, that the United States is facilitating a coup and a big part of that is taking control of Citgo which is a subsidiary of PDVSA. John Bolton admitted in an interview recently on Fox News that:

It would make a big difference to the United States economically if we could have American oil companies invest in and produce the oil capabilities in Venezuela. It will be beneficial to the people of Venezuela, it will be beneficial to the people of the United States. We both have a lot at stake here making this come out the right way.

Mark Weisbrot, who is a member of the Center for Economic and Policy Research and an expert on Venezuela, made a startling statement back in 2017.

At the end of August, the Trump administration imposed harsh sanctions on Venezuela that prevent the country from borrowing or selling assets in the US financial system. The new embargo exacerbated shortages of food, medicine, and other essential goods, while severely limiting the policy options available to pull the country out of a deep depression.

National Security Advisor John Bolton estimated that the sanctions issued against PDVSA and Citgo would affect some $7 billion in assets and would block $11 billion in revenue from reaching the Venezuelan government. It’s illogical to stand behind podiums and tell the world that the Venezuelan people are starving and then announce sanctions against the Venezuelan government preventing $18 billion dollars from reaching the very people the United States claims are starving.

Representative Ilhan Omar from Minnesota stoically traded words with Elliot Abrams who Trump chose to lead the envoy in Venezuela. Ms. Omar challenged Mr. Abrams about his previous actions in South America in which Mr. Abrams was convicted of lying to Congress about the Iran Contra Affair in the ’80s that led to genocide. Ilhan Omar stated to Elliot Abrams,

Mr. Abrams in 1991 you pleaded guilty to two counts of withholding information from Congress regarding your involvement in the Iran Contra Affair for which you were later pardoned by President Goerge H.W. Bush. I fail to understand why members of this committee or the American people should find any testimony that you give today to be truthful.

Mr. Abrams tried to interject by alleging Ms. Omar’s statement was an attack against him, but Ms. Omar stood strong proclaiming that it was not a question, that she reserved the right to her time and she thanked Mr. Abrams for his participation. Ilhan Omar’s knowledge and bravery to call out a war criminal on a global stage for the world to see opened the eyes of many Americans to the Trump administration’s planned coup in Venezuela and Elliot Abrams plan for Venezuela was denied by the Foreign Affairs Committee.

On February 20th, The Grayzone Project’s Jeb Sprague published an article along with a video in which he enters the offices of 21Air, a shadowy air cargo company accused of ferrying arms to Venezuela. He writes in his report:

McClatchy discovered that the plane had suddenly begun making constant trips – 40 in total – to Colombia and Venezuela, sometimes multiple times a day during the month of January. The flights began immediately following the swearing-in of Venezuela’s incumbent president, Nicholas Maduro.

Survival Solar Battery Charger - Free Today!

This McClatchy news report was also mentioned in a question to Elliot Abrams by Representative Joaquin Castro during his testimony to the Foreign Affairs Committee. Representative Castro asked Elliot Abrams “my question is whether you’re aware of transfers of weapons or defense equipment by the United States government to groups in Venezuela opposed to Maduro since you were appointed Special Representative to Venezuela?”

Elliot Abrams replies. “No.”

Mr. Castro continues and says “and I want to be respectful you, but also honest, the reason I ask that question is there has been a McClatchy news report of such an incident. Are you aware of that news report to which Mr. Abrams replies, “I saw the report, yes.” Mr. Castro then states “I asked that question because you have a record of such actions, in Nicaragua, you were involved in the effort to covertly provide lethal aid to the Contras against the will of Congress. You ultimately plead guilty to two counts of lying to Congress and withholding information from Congress in regard to your testimony during the Iran Contra scandal, so I ask you the question can we trust your testimony today?” Elliot Abrams fired back and said, “well you can make that decision for yourself Mr. Castro.”

According to the report from The Grayzone Project, Adolfo Moreno who is chairman of 21AIr and Michael Steinke who runs the day-to-day operations at 21Air have had ties to Gemini Air Cargo, “a company that was involved in more than 30 air charter services used for CIA rendition. Those flights ferried individuals suspected of terrorism by U.S. authorities to be tortured and interrogated at CIA “black sites” around the world.”

Media outlets like The Grayzone Project are proving how important independent adversarial voices are nowadays. Before the age of the Internet, information was controlled, but the Internet along with independent media outlets have exploded the walls of carefully manufactured echo chambers created to propagandize the masses into thinking military intervention or economic warfare somehow perpetuates democracy around the globe.

A global 5G system is currently being implemented and no one seems to care. Like guinea pigs in an experiment we are being marched down a road of uncertainty that will not only affect our health and our privacy but more importantly it will change what it means to be human for all those who come into contact with it.

In this video Dan Dicks of Press For Truth speaks with author and presenter David Icke about this global 5G system, what the health and privacy issues are and, more importantly, how they plan to use it to manipulate our very thoughts and emotions as man and machine slowly merge into a toxic soup of transhumanism.

Money laundering scandals involving some of the world’s largest banks have grown this week. Switzerland’s largest bank, UBS, has been fined 3.7 billion euros (~$4.2 billion) for money laundering. Amid a $226 billion scandal, Estonian authorities have ordered Denmark’s largest bank to terminate its operations in the country. Danske Bank is also shutting down in three other countries including Russia.

UBS Convicted in France

On Wednesday, Reuters reported that a “French court finds UBS criminally responsible of money laundering.” The Associated Press elaborated:

The Paris court convicted Zurich-based UBS AG on Wednesday of aggravated money laundering of the proceeds of tax fraud and illegal bank soliciting, issuing what French media called a record fine.

The French prosecutors allege that the bank sent its bankers to sporting events and concerts to solicit clients and then laundered the proceeds. “The assets illegally concealed by French clients in Switzerland in 2004-2012 allegedly amounted to some 10 billion euros ($10.75 billion),” the news outlet wrote.

The publication added that the court “ordered exceptional criminal fines of 3.7 billion euros ($4.2 billion) for UBS’ Swiss head office and 15 million euros ($17 million) for its French subsidiary and civil damages of 800 million euros ($907 million). Five former UBS executives were also given fines and suspended prison sentences.” Overall, the bank has been ordered to pay fines totaling 4.5 billion euros.

Noting that UBS has contested any criminal wrongdoing and would appeal against the verdict, the BBC quoted the prosecutors telling the court:

UBS was ‘systematic’ in its support of tax-evading customers and that the laundering of proceeds from the tax fraud was done on an ‘industrial’ scale.

Danske Bank Kicked Out of Estonia

On Tuesday, Denmark’s largest bank, Danske Bank, was ordered by Estonian authorities to shut down its operations in the country within eight months, Reuters reported. Kilvar Kessler, the head of Estonia’s banking regulator Finantsinspektsioon, said that the bank could be fined up to 10 percent of its turnover if it does not comply with the ruling. Responding to the order, the bank announced:

The Estonian Financial Supervision Authority (the Estonian FSA) has ordered Danske Bank to cease banking operations in Estonia, which Danske Bank has agreed to do.

Danske Bank has been at the center of one of the largest money laundering scandals to date. Its investigation involves over 200 billion euros (~$226 billion) in suspicious payments that allegedly flowed through its Estonian branch between 2007 and 2015. The scandal led to the ousting of the bank’s CEO, Thomas F. Borgen, who resigned on Sept. 19. In December last year, Reuters reported that Estonia arrested 10 of the local branch’s employees in connection with the charges.

Furthermore, the bank announced that it is closing down all offices in Latvia, Lithuania and Russia, claiming that this decision is in line with the bank’s “strategy of focusing on its Nordic core markets.” The bank wrote:

Danske Bank has for some time considered the future of its remaining activities in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, as well as the activities in Russia. Danske Bank has now decided to close down all of these activities.

In addition to being investigated in Denmark and Estonia, Danske Bank is also under investigation in Britain, France and the U.S. The bank explained that it was placed under formal investigation in France on Feb. 7 for alleged “money laundering related to certain transactions in the terminated portfolio of non-resident customers of Danske Bank’s branch in Estonia in the period from 2007 to 2014.”

Swedbank Also Being Investigated

One of Sweden’s largest banks, Swedbank, is the most recent bank to be investigated in connection with Danske Bank. Estonia’s state prosecutor confirmed on Wednesday that it is investigating allegations linking Swedbank to suspicious transactions in the country involving Danske Bank, Reuters detailed.

According to Swedish television SVT, the bank “may have been used for extensive, systematic money laundering for nearly a decade.” The media outlet claimed to have analyzed a large number of classified documents exposing Danske Bank’s dealings with Swedbank, its website details. “There were a large number of transactions between the banks’ clients between 2007 and 2015,” SVT wrote and further alleged:

50 of Swedbank’s customers that show several risk indicators of suspected money laundering have funneled a total of USD 5.8 billion through the bank … Of this, USD 26 million is linked to the Russian tax fraud.

Reuters then cited SVT claiming that “The investigation covers more than 1,000 of Swedbank’s clients in high-risk countries who are known from the money laundering scandal in Danske Bank.” The publication quoted Swedbank CEO Birgitte Bonnesen admitting that she could not guarantee that her bank had been able to pick up all suspicious transactions, conceding: “Was there any risk that a payment in 2007 slipped through? Yes, there is a risk.”

A wide-ranging and draconian set of new rules in the European Union (EU) known as the Copyright Directive may end up destroying the Internet as we know it. If Brussels has its way, everything from memes to alternative news and a range of Internet past-times could be rendered a thing of the past.

The EU has already agreed on the final wording of the new copyright rules, which will see online platforms held liable for any sort of copyright violation, doing away with elementary notions of what could constitute “Fair Use” and transforming the way in which Internet users share information online.

While monopolist Internet companies like Google and Amazon surely wield far too much power, the Euro bureaucrats’ attempt to force the proposed rules onto platforms constitutes what Internet experts call “an unprecedented step towards the transformation of the Internet, from an open platform for sharing and innovation, into a tool for the automated surveillance and control of its users.”

At the heart of the new directive, which is expected to be passed despite widespread public outcry, are two specific parts that have riled up critics and threaten to chill the sharing of music, memes and news articles.

Article 11 of the rule, dubbed the “link tax,” would effectively force news aggregators including Google News, Bing, Yahoo and others to get a license from news publishers to link articles while also compensating publishers.

According to the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF):

“Article 11, which allows news sites to decide who can link to their stories and charge for permission to do so, has also been worsened. The final text clarifies that any link that contains more than ‘single words or very short extracts’ from a news story must be licensed, with no exceptions for noncommercial users, nonprofit projects, or even personal websites with ads or other income sources, no matter how small.”

Article 13 has been described as the “meme ban” provision of the Copyright Directive, and would see major platforms screen all uploads to prevent any form of copyright infringement. According to the article, “online content sharing service providers and right holders shall cooperate in good faith in order to ensure that unauthorized protected works or other subject matter are not available on their services.” What this means, however, is that in order to protect their own assets, websites that are older than three years old that host user-generated content (like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, among others), regardless of size, would be forced to crack down on content lest they face legal liability for material seen as infringing on copyrights.

As a number of privacy watchdogs and civil liberties advocacy groups said in a letter to EU policy-makers, Article 13 would force “obligations on internet companies that would be impossible to respect without the imposition of excessive restrictions on citizens’ fundamental rights.”

This gives new life to the saying, “when it rains, it pours.”

Sometimes life mimics fiction. And sometimes life is so much stranger than fiction you have to double check the headlines to ensure they aren’t satire. The latest doubletake comes from New Jersey, where, under the guise of environmentalism, local legislators have passed a new tax on—wait for it— the rain.

Governments are known for a lack of creativity and an uncanny ability to think only inside the box. However, when it comes to getting creative with inventing new forms of taxation, they never disappoint. Chicago, for example, recently implemented a “PlayStation” tax on its residents as part of the city’s previously existing “amusement tax,” which, just as it sounds, taxes individuals on almost all forms of entertainment.

California, on the other hand, recently tried to get away with unprecedented levels of extortion when it tried to tax residents for their drinking water and text messages. The water tax is still on the table, but luckily, the Golden State did not succumb to the new ridiculous texting tax. New Jersey, though, might not be so lucky.

To be perfectly clear, while the new tax is being referred to as the “rain tax,” it doesn’t actually tax the rain itself, but that doesn’t make the context of the legislation any less absurd.

Bill S-1073 seeks to penalize businesses and homeowners whose property contains paved surfaces, like a driveway or a parking lot. When it rains, the rain acts as a medium, transporting any pollutants it picks up from paved surfaces, like brine and rock salt, and then depositing it into sewers and drains. And since the pollutants are thought to have originated from paved surfaces, the state has determined that property owners are responsible for any negative environmental impacts that result therein and should be penalized accordingly.

The legislation itself does not actually allow the state to collect any taxes, however. Instead, it allows each of its 565 different municipalities to create their own stormwater utility systems to minimize the runoff problem. Each locality will then charge each homeowner and business based on what the bill calls “a fair and equitable approximation” of how much runoff is generated from their property.

The legislation states:

Under the bill, a county, municipality, or authority (local unit) that establishes a stormwater utility is authorized to charge and collect reasonable fees and other charges to recover the stormwater utility’s costs for stormwater management.

As is the trend these days, supporters are praising the bill as a heroic move to protect the environment, though there is no real evidence that any significant harm is being done. Yet, legislators would have you believe there is a crisis at hand.

Senate President Steve Sweeney tried to convey the seriousness of the problem, saying, “With all the salt we’ve had on roads recently, that’s all running into the sewer systems, so you don’t ignore the problems because they don’t go away.” However, this winter has actually been mild for the state, with fewer snow falls than usual, meaning there has not been any sudden influx of rock salt pouring into the sewer systems this season.

A local writer, E.W. Boyle, highlighted the true idiocy of this proposed tax, writing:

Now, since our roads have been treated during winter storm events for over 80 years, with no apparent environmental impact, one wonders what took them so long to notice that there is salt runoff into creeks, streams and estuary rivers during subsequent rain events. No, rather what they noticed was the potential for yet another tax levy.

Boyle hits the nail on the head, and he is not alone in his opposition to the new tax. Republican state senator Tom Kean Jr. also criticized this proposal for the burden it places on New Jersey residents. Since each municipality is in charge of setting its own rules regarding the collection of this tax with very little oversight from any other governing entity, it is ripe for potential abuse. Keane said, “We all want to protect our environment. We all want to preserve it for future generations, but this is a weighted tax.” He continued, “The citizens of New Jersey…really [have] no way to defend themselves against tax increases at local levels.”

Since the bill gives local governments carte blanche to set the rates and collect the revenue, it makes it harder for residents to voice their concern if they believe they are being asked to pay too much. Keane later added:

…you shouldn’t create unfair authorities with uneven taxing practices…You’re creating a new layer of government that will not be regulated. The concern is uneven enforcement.

While uneven enforcement is certainly a concern, it is not the only problem the new rain tax inflicts on New Jersey residents. The legislation also comes with a hefty price tag that property owners will be responsible for footing.

New Jersey is currently one of the most heavily taxed states in the country. And yet, it is going to burden its residents even further with the passing of this bill. According to the EPA, it will cost the state of New Jersey $15.6 billion to upgrade its storm drain system. However, the cost to Garden State taxpayers could end up being significantly higher.

New Jersey’s Office of Legislative Services, which usually determines the fiscal impact of state policies, could not shed any light on what this might actually cost residents. Since each local municipality is in charge of setting its own rates for each property owner, there is really no way of estimating the projected costs at this time. And given the nature of government, it is highly probable that taxpayers will end up paying more than their “fair” share of the burden.

Chris Sturm, a supporter of the bill and a water policy “expert” at the nonprofit organization New Jersey Future, attempted to downplay the impact this will have on homeowners. Sturm commented, “This will be negligible for the vast majority of homeowners. This is for properties that have large impervious surfaces.” While no one, including state officials, is sure of the fiscal impact this will have on residents, there is something else quite disturbing about his statement.

Avoiding The Eye - Ships Free Today!

These properties with “large impervious surfaces” are places of business. They are the very institutions responsible for creating jobs, wealth, and prosperity within the state. And yet, rather than celebrating these titans of industry for their contributions, state lawmakers are attempting to impose onerous taxes on them. This is yet another example of governments using their taxing powers to turn private businesses into their personal coffers.

To make matters worse, any individual or business who does not pay their “rain tax” will be charged interest and have a tax lien imposed on them by the state, the very same type of action taken against those who fail to pay their property taxes.

New Jersey is, unfortunately, not the first state to attempt to inflict this type of tax on its residents. In 2012, Maryland instituted its own version of the rain tax, but it was not received well by the taxpayers. In 2014, Republican Governor Larry Hogan altered the law and allowed nine counties and the city of Baltimore to opt out of the state’s rain tax, so long as each municipality promised to address the Chesapeake Bay runoff issue on their own.

Hogan commented, “Passing a state law that forces counties to raise taxes on their citizens against their will is not the best way to address the issue.”

New Jersey does not feel the same way.

New Jersey legislators have done their constituents a great disservice by passing this bill. And now, the legislation is currently sitting on the desk of Governor Phil Murphy. It is expected that it will be signed any day now. This gives new life to the saying, “when it rains, it pours.”

All over the U.S., a new trend is taking form — several restaurants are suddenly offering cannabidiol (CBD) infused snacks and drinks; however, according to several state regulators, selling them is illegal. Meanwhile, the battle on the federal level already seems won as the FDA is seeking “pathways” to legalize CBD oil in drinks and snack food.

If you do a simple Presearch for the words “CBD oil smoothie” you are bound to get tons of results. It’s a new trend taking over U.S. restaurants all over from the East Coast to the West Coast, selling CBD-infused drinks or snacks to customers.

Organically grown zero THC CO2 Extracted CBD

CBD oil is derived as a powerful ingredient reaped from the hemp plant. Many may find it shocking to learn that CBD is similar to a compound that our bodies produce naturally, and from birth, called endocannabinoids. Cannabinoids aren’t just found in the cannabis plant, they’re also naturally occurring in other plants in nature, they are just found at a higher potency in cannabis.

CBD has shown promise as a treatment for conditions like epilepsy and anxiety in early research. Although more research is needed into CBD oil and its effects, much of the studies have been positive.

So what’s the buzz all about with CBD smoothies/drinks?

CBD oil offers the healing power of marijuana without the psychoactive effect of the chemical compound THC. These drinks — which include teas, lemonade, even iced coffee, and many more variants — are designed to alleviate pain, offering relief to those looking to benefit from the medicinal aspects of marijuana. So don’t expect to feel a high sensation, just expect to feel good and relaxed.

In the mere first few months of this year, several regulators have now moved to kill everyone’s business and are cracking down on CBD-infused drinks and snacks.

According to the New York Daily News, the New York City Department of Health is banning cannabidiol because it has not been officially deemed safe for human consumption.

“Restaurants in New York City are not permitted to add anything to food or drink that is not approved as safe to eat. The Health Department takes seriously its responsibility to protect New Yorkers’ health. Until cannabidiol (CBD) is deemed safe as a food additive, the Department is ordering restaurants not to offer products containing CBD,” a health department spokeswoman said.

New York isn’t the only state to ban the sale of CBD-infused products; the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has also said this month that they are illegal, The Charlotte Observer reported.

The department has even stated that it has already begun sending letters to businesses, notifying them that the sale of CBD in food, drinks, and animal food violates state and federal law.

Marijuana is illegal in North Carolina, and so is hemp if it contains too much THC.

“Once you place products into the marketplace, you have a responsibility to comply with all federal and state laws,” the letters say, according to a copy provided by the agriculture department t0 The Charlotte Observer. “Failure to comply could result in legal action being taken against you, including without limitation, embargo, seizure and injunction.”

There are also the states of Ohio and Maine which are cracking down on the CBD oil industry.  State health officials in Maine and Ohio recently ordered businesses to remove CBD-infused edibles from stores, Portland Press Herald reported.

In Ohio, despite its medical marijuana program legalized. local and state authorities have also been cracking down on businesses selling CBD-based products, according to The Cincinnati Enquirer.

Meanwhile, state health inspectors in Texas announced last year that they could confiscate food products containing CBD oil under new procedures proposed by the Texas Department of State Health Services, Dallas Observer reported.

California is another state under fire that suffered a CBD ban last year, The California Department of Public Health’s Food and Drug Branch (CDPH-FDB) issued a revised FAQ on cannabidiol (CBD) in food products that will likely block the sale of hemp-derived CBD products in California, Cannalawblog reported.

Surprisingly, the main regulator, the FDA, has seemed to signal a lighter tone on regulating the cannabinoid industry federally.

In fact, Commissioner Scott Gottlieb even stated that the agency is looking for “pathways” to legalize the sale of CBD oil and other cannabis-derived compounds in food, beverages, and supplements.

Interestingly enough, this comes after U.S. President Donald Trump silently slightly legalized hemp when he signed what’s being deemed “the Farm Bill of 2018” into law right before Christmas of last year on December 20th, 2018.

The Farm Bill was introduced by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell who announced that he would propose the legislation alongside Senator Rand Paul to legalize hemp by removing it from the list of controlled substances, where cannabis sits alongside psilocybin mushrooms, MDMA, and heroin. The bill would also offer “full protection for individual farmers as well as the interstate commerce of U.S. grown and manufactured hemp products; normalize finance, banking, insurance, and other business proceedings for the hemp industry; advance research opportunities; ensure access to public water rights for hemp farmers; and protect the increasing and perhaps unlimited variety of hemp-derived products by promulgating a ‘whole plant’ definition of Hemp.”

It’s “an $867 billion, five-year spending bill that funds agricultural, nutrition and other federal programs — also loosened some federal restrictions on cannabis. It legalized hemp by removing it from the Controlled Substances Act while preserving the FDA’s authority to regulate the products,” CNBC reported.

The FDA currently prohibits companies from adding CBD and THC to food, drinks, and supplements. The agency also forbids manufacturers and retailers from making any therapeutic claims about their products. It also restrains the sale of food, supplements and other products containing CBD across state lines at its current state of laws.

Gottlieb also said that the FDA plans to maintain a website specifically dedicated to cannabis  and CBD called “FDA and Marijuana: Questions and Answers.”

“We recognize the potential opportunities that cannabis or cannabis-derived compounds could offer and acknowledge the significant interest in these possibilities,” Gottlieb said in a statement. “We’re committed to pursuing an efficient regulatory framework for allowing product developers that meet the requirements under our authorities to lawfully market these types of products.”

Meanwhile, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) stressed that CBD is still illegal. Last year, a spokesperson for the agency explained to Indiana news WTHR that those who violate federal drug laws still run the “risk of arrest and prosecution.” Although, he reassured that the DEA is not going after individuals who have benefited from CBD oil.

“It would not be an appropriate use of federal resources to go after a mother because her child has epileptic seizures and has found something that can help and has helped. Are they breaking the law? Yes, they are. Are we going to break her door down? Absolutely not. And I don’t think she’ll be charged by any U.S. Attorney,” DEA spokesperson Rusty Payne told the Indiana news station.

With the Farm Bill of 2018 passed and signed by U.S. President Trump, the legislation effectively removes industrial hemp from Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act. While it federally legalizes the commercial cultivation of the crop, what wasn’t touched was CBD oil-based products.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved its very first cannabis-derived drug in June of last year, Epidiolex a (cannabidiol) [CBD] oral solution for the treatment of seizures associated with two rare and severe forms of epilepsy, according to the regulator’s website.

So now a new extension of the drug war seems to be brewing against products with CBD oil in them as an adjuvant, with the states fighting back against the FDA’s own opinion on CBD oil. However, the FDA’s own commissioner has expressed a means to want to legalize CBD-based products.

However, it’s important to note as Business Insider points out, “as long as CBD products are sold without therapeutic claims and within state lines, they appear to be considered legal.”

Now that Jussie Smollett has been arrested for manufacturing a “hate crime”—his duplicity was obvious from the start—it is time for the corporate media to move on to the next manufactured act designed to make all white males out to be racist homicidal maniacs.

Hours before Smollett was arrested for his vicious hoax, one Christopher Paul Hasson was arrested and accused of wanting to kill just about every human on earth, especially black people.

“The defendant intends to murder innocent civilians on a scale rarely seen in this country,” contends the government. In addition to taking advantage of the Second Amendment of a moribund Constitution—horror of horrors; the National Guard lieutenant had a “cache” of fifteen firearms and a thousand rounds of ammo in his home—the state says Hasson also had a stash of “steroids and narcotics,” something that is hardly unique in America, circa 2019.

“Over the past two years, he had made nearly two dozen purchases of firearms or related equipment and made thousands of visits to websites selling weapons or tactical gear,” entirely legal activity engaged in by millions of Americans every day.

If the government can be believed, this guy is an avowed “domestic terrorist,” a white supremacist with a soft spot for Anders Behring Breivik, the Norwegian psychopath who killed 77 people in 2011.

“Breivik encouraged identifying targets and traitors,” argues MSN. “In recent weeks, according to the court filings, Hasson developed a spreadsheet of targets that included top Democratic congressional leaders and media personalities. The list includes “JOEY,” what prosecutors say is a reference to former congressman Joe Scarborough (R-Fla.), now of MSNBC; “cortez,” an alleged reference to freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.); and “Sen blumen jew,” presumably about Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.).”

Again, if the government can be believed (and in most cases it cannot), Hasson

contemplated biological attacks and targeting food supplies, according to the court filings. He considered the merits of a ‘bombing/sniper campaign.’

Though court documents do not detail a specific planned date for an attack, the government said he had been amassing supplies and weapons since at least 2017, developed a spreadsheet of targets that included House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and searched the Internet using phrases such as ‘best place in dc to see congress people’ and ‘are supreme court justices protected.’

The FBI did not provide details on how it became aware of this deluded fantasist or his study of Breivik’s 1,500-page “manifesto.” He apparently did a number of Internet searches and sent emails to himself and “an American neo-Nazi leader,” activity that undoubtedly sent up red flags at the national security state—which has for some time had the technology to surveil every American—and provided an opportunity to push the intersectionality agenda that has proven successful in dividing Americans along artificial and unusually absurd political lines (and also keep the FBI relevant and flush with taxpayer dollars).

Finally, this story should be taken with a grain of salt bigger than Ayers Rock in Australia. It is public knowledge the FBI has for years trolled the mentally ill and naive Muslims and framed them for terror plots like something out of a Tom Clancy novel. The agency has gone so far as to have “informers” arrange to sale of weapons and inert bombs to folks who should be on anti-psychotic meds, and then rolling these orchestrated fantasies out every few months as examples why the government should continue and expand the war on terror.

Survival Solar Battery Charger - Free Today!

The Muslim “threat” is now well past its expiration date. The infrastructure—the NSA, DHS, fusion centers, police militarization, anti-terror public-private partnerships, etc.—is now in place and the real enemies of the state (constitutionalists, libertarians, antiwar activists) are to be targeted and liquidated in a rerun of COINTELPRO.

For the intersectional identity politics crowd, Jussie Smollett is an embarrassment. It shows how these people are vindictive liars and their “smirking privileged white male” nonsense is nothing more than a hateful fantasy that has—thanks to the state’s propaganda media—managed to brainwash millions of Americans.

The Hasson case—real or imagined—will further radicalize a growing number of intellectually impotent progressives who believe white people (especially straight males) should not only be made to pay reparations for sins against “marginalized communities,” but should in fact not exist at all.

Who needs Big Brother to spy on you in your home when Siri and Google will do it for them?

Two recent stories prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that smart device surveillance is real.

According to Mac Rumors, Apple recently applied for a facial recognition and 3D hand gesture patent for their new HomePod 2 smart speaker.

A recent article in Gadgets 360 describes the HomePod 2’s facial recognition and hand gesture identification as an “interesting new feature.”

“Apple may add a number of interesting new features in the next edition of its HomePod speaker.”

Another article in Phone Arena describes HomePod’s facial recognition as “a turn for the futuristic.”

Below is a picture of the inside of a HomePod covered with microphones now imagine what the HomePod 2 will look like covered with cameras and microphones.

Homepod 2  a perfect home surveillance device

Mac Rumors warned that soon all smart speakers will be equipped with facial recognition.

In late 2017, the president of Apple supplier Inventec said his company sees a trend towards both facial and image recognition technology being incorporated into smart speakers, without specifying which speakers in particular. This led Apple analyst Jeff Pu to predict the launch of a Face ID-enabled HomePod in 2019.

Because who doesn’t want to be spied on by a smart speaker? Google and Apple have taken home surveillance to the next level.

Yesterday, the BBC News revealed that for at least two years Google’s Nest Guard has come equipped with a hidden microphone in them.

Google has acknowledged that it made an error in not disclosing that one of its home alarm products contained a microphone.

Product specifications for the Nest Guard, available since 2017, had made no mention of the listening device.

Google claims their hidden microphone “has never been on and is only activated when users specifically enable the option.”

If you bought a lamp or a TV from someone and they installed hidden microphones in them they would be arrested for wiretapping, but not Google; who claims they forgot to tell people!

Google Clips is a lot like Nest, they both claim to be innocuous and designed to make people’s lives easier but when you dig deeper you discover it is all a smokescreen. Two years ago, I wrote an article exposing how Clips uses facial recognition to identify everyone in your home.

Fast forward two years and you can see history repeating itself with the HomePod 2 and Nest.

A 2018 Forbes article about smart device surveillance warned, “the biggest threat smart devices pose is how governments can misuse the data they collect and use them to conduct mass surveillance on a planetary scale.”

It is time for Americans to wake up and realize that smart home devices are nothing more than Big Brother surveillance devices masquerading as speakers, TVs, thermostats, doorbells, etc.

Tens of millions of utility “Smart” Meters have already been installed around the world.  They have been associated with so many issues (including fires and explosions) that a documentary was produced and released in 2013 called, Take Back Your Power which was updated and re-released in 2017.

People everywhere do not want “Smart” Meters, including in the UK:

Because “Smart” Meters are so unpopular there, proponents seem to have sunk to a new low by encouraging a popular TV drama to feature a psycho killer pose as a meter reader:

From Digitalspy.com:

Having become a fan favourite in the first two seasons of The Missing, French investigator Julien Baptiste (Tchéky Karyo) now has his own spin-off series.

And as the first episode premiered tonight (February 17), the main take-away for viewers was the importance of owning a smart meter.

The episode opened with a brutal murder as a menacing Romanian individual by the name of Constantin (God’s Own Country’s Alec Secareanu) posed as a company gas man to get into an old man’s house.

Once inside, Constantin horrifically suffocated the elderly gentleman with a plastic bag before cutting up his body with a chainsaw.  (He didn’t use half enough protective plastic sheets to cater for the spray.)

This is not the first outlandish attempt at convincing Brits to embrace these problematic meters.  In 2014 they paid activist and musician Sir Bob Geldof to campaign for them.  Expensive TV ads and other promotional videos have also been produced since as well as a cheesy (and confusing) campaign song and video.

Utility “Smart” Meters emit harmful wireless WiFi radiation.  Exposure can cause many health issues including increased cancer risk and the disruption of the blood-brain barrier. Regardless, recently UK proponents have also started installing smart meters on the homes of dementia patients so they can monitor and track them.  How pathologically thoughtful.

Regardless, some viewers of this TV episode may now be terrified of meter readers.  However “Smart” Meters being installed on their homes is more likely to create a wide variety of other horrifying consequences and symptoms.

I can’t seem to face up to the facts
I’m tense and nervous and I
Can’t relax
I can’t sleep ’cause my bed’s on fire
Don’t touch me
I’m a real live wire
